Alongside the major talents
of South American DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo and DJ Marky, the
Argentinian-born house supremo, DJ Gabo, belongs to that select
group of DJ stars exploding into the World dance music scene
recently.
Having lived in Brasil for over 22 years, Gabo has already clocked
up years of experience playing at the very best events across
the country. Gabo has also headlined major events across the
rest of Latin America, including sets at Creamfields in Buenos
Aires and Smirnoff Experience alongside the likes of Nick Warren.
As a result, Gabo has naturally assumed the role of Brasil's
Official House Music Representative with his seamless and high-octane
sets of House and Tech-House.
With the Brasilian Drum n bass and Techno scenes well represented,
Brasil's thriving house scene now boasts the formidable DJ and
producer DJ Gabo.
Gabo's production career really kicked off in 2003 with the release
of his highly acclaimed "Kamasutra EP" on Eddie Richard's
Lunar Tunes imprint. Catapulting him in to the world scene,
this EP made DJs' top 10's from San Francisco to London and led
to Gabo receiving personal requests for South American tour support
from the likes of Sasha, Lee Burridge, Terry Francis , Nathan
Coles ,Mr C Colin Dale ,amongst many others.
Since the release of "Kamasutra", Gabo's production
work has made him more in-demand than ever! With recent releases
on Sensei Records, alongside Get Fucked!, and collaborations
with some of the hottest talent the international house scene
has to offer such as Julio Torres and Terry Francis, Gabo's own
music is making some serious noise in clubs across the globe.
As a DJ, Gabo continues to push boundaries with a newly agreed
deal in the bag for global involvement in the prestigious Smirnoff
Experience events. With his recent performances at Brasilian
super-festivals such as Skolbeats and Brasilia Music Festival,
Gabo has cemented his reputation as the Godfather of Brasilian
house music. Meanwhile, overseas he has recently graced the
legendary Space and Underground in Ibiza, not to mention London's
world-renowned clubbing epicentre The End. With demand for Gabo's
talent going off the chart on European shores, you can expect
to see a lot more of him in the future!
